Located 10 km south of the center, near the lighthouse is Mar del Plata`s AQUARIUM. Animals on display include penguins, flamingoes, crocodiles a lots of fish.There are sea-lions, dolphins and water shows, along a cinema.You can also swim with sharks(among other watery creatures) and sit on the beach.Get here on bus 221 or 511.You can eat, you can buy stuff, can take pictures of the animals.Is fantastic!!!Children under 3 are free.From 3 to 10 years $ 99.00,  adults $139.00

1. SEALS FAUNA RESERVE
   

   This Reserve protects the “Otaria Flavescens” Seal and it is considered unique as it only houses males (around 800 of them). A municipal decree declared this seal to be Marine Natural Monument of Mar del Plata as the species has a historical, esthetic and scientific value for the city. Location:  Southern Breakwater (Escollera) of the Port.
