LAGUNA DE LOS PADRES
It is a small lake located about eight miles west of Mar del Plata and rougly one mile east of Sierra de los Padres' hills. The name of the lake as well as of the hills nearby has origins in the Jesuit Fathers (padres).
The lenght of the lake is about 2,055 (6884) and a wight of 1701 mt (5670 feet).
The aquatic flora is algaes, rushes another species.
The place has been open to public since 1964.

Fishing is the main recreational activity.The lake also hosted rowing events during the 1995 Panamerican Games.
